Palestine - Refugee Camp

We finished our tour at a UN refugee camp (Dheisheh) near Bethlehem. While it is full of thousands of Palestinian refugees in cramped quarters, the refugees have managed to build a community and life for themselves, with the help of several organizations. There is a community center (IBDAA), a school, and a health center, and many of the adults work outside of the camp. I found it fascinating, so I did a little more research. Here is a website about the camp: http://www.geocities.com/CapitolHill/9836/dheisheh/
